Together, we make up Food Photography Corner! While we have our own roles within the business, we share the same love for delicious baked goods, food photography, and helping other creative entrepreneur's build a business that lights their soul on fire, oh and we podcast about it all from time to time. 

We're Rosslyn & Mikyla!

You wouldn't be reading this if Mikyla hadn't been sliding into Rosslyn's DMs...

PICTURE THIS: IT'S 2020 MID PANDEMIC, MIKYLA JUST STARTED HER FOOD INSTAGRAM AND GENUINELY WANTS TO MAKE FRIENDSHIPS AND CONNECTIONS. SO SHE SLIDES IN TO ROSSLYN'S DM'S, REPLYING TO ALL HER STORIES, SENDING VOICE MEMO'S... THE WHOLE 9 YARDS. 

Rosslyn is taken aback, she is not used to someone being so direct and genuine over social media, and she truthfully thought Mikyla had to be part of some pyramid marketing business or just totally crazy.

Over time, Mikyla's consistency showed Rosslyn that, yes while she is totally crazy, Mikyla's intentions were good and they soon grew to become incredible friends and each other's best supporters, bonding over the ups and downs of being a creative entrepreneur.

Enter Clubhouse! Locked at home, Rosslyn started a club called Food Photography Corner on Clubhouse as a way to chat and connect with other food photographers during the pandemic. The two naturally began conversing on Clubhouse and became closer friends which led to hosting weekly rooms within the club, which turned into a podcast!

Chocolate and raisins (not chocolate covered raisins but eaten separately ha!)

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A singer of course! haha
